For more information about the International Student Housing Scholarship please contact the International Student Services Office (850) 201 8457 or Jensenb@tcc.fl.edu. You can also contact our scholarship coordinator Angie Isaac isaaca@tcc.fl.edu.

2. ISS Scholarship:

The ISS Scholarship is awarded every Fall and Spring semesters to international students enrolled full time who have been active members of ISO and/or who have actively volunteered their time at events sponsored by the ISS Office for at least one semester prior to the semester applying for this scholarship.

For the ISS Scholarship, students must meet the following criteria:

 1. Be pursuing a degree at TCC.  This excludes transients and non-degree seeking students.

 2. Be enrolled in at least 12 credit hours of college level work at the time of application.

 3. Have been an active participant in the activities and functions of the International Student Services (ISS) Office or ISO on a regular basis for at least one semester prior to application.  MUST submit a log of these activities at the time of application.

 4. Have a distinguished academic record as indicated by a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.00 at the time of application.

 5. Must submit a one-page essay stating how helping and participating in events sponsored by the ISS Office or ISO has enriched your life as a student and as a person.

The funds for this scholarship are generated through fund-raising events; therefore, students planning on applying for this scholarship should be active participants in these events.  The amount of the scholarship has been set at $500.00.

*NOTE: This scholarship criterion is subject to review every year.  The recipients will be chosen after careful consideration by the scholarship committee composed of the ISS international adviser and two other faculty members.

IMPORTANT I-20 SHIPPING INSTRUCTIONS

International Students will be sent an email once the ISS Office is processing their I-20. You must reply to the email indicating which method would you prefer to receive your immigration and pre-arrival documents.

For your I-20 or other documents to be sent by Express Mail at your expense (recommended):

You will use a company called "eShipGlobal".  This company is not affiliated with TCC but it allows you to receive your I-20 package using FedEx.  The charges are billed to your credit card (Visa, Mastercard or Discover cards only).  To request express mailing of your documents, go to: https://study.eshipglobal.com.  Do not go to the FedEx or DHL websites directly.

Or  you can chose to have your documents to be sent via regular international mail  which could take 6 weeks or more to arrive without the ability to track the delivery status.

For more information contact us at iss@tcc.fl.edu or (850) - 201 8457
